If you're like us, you have probably seen a similar product on your Facebook feed. When we first saw this product we thought it was awesome. We went ahead and ordered one, once it arrived although it was super cool we started seeing some flaws right away. That is why we created the Paralax Air Hammock. We wanted the best, most comfortable product out there.

The Paralax Air Hammock is the only air hammock on the market made with top quality 210D high-density waterproof coated nylon. We chose this nylon as it's soft and durable. All our competitors use 'ripstop' nylon, which is not a true ripstop nylon, but has the appearance of it. True ripstop nylon has small pieces of fabric sewn through the material to stop it from tearing further once it has a tear. Even if they did use real ripstop nylon which is great for kites, parachutes etc as if it starts to tear it supposed to stop, but it's not very puncture resistant as the material is so tight. As were not flying our Paralax, but chilling out on it we chose a material that has slightly more stretch and is a lot more comfortable. Although it's strong we still highly suggest to use it on soft surfaces, rounded rocks, dirt etc. Try to avoid sharp or jagged rocks, pointy sticks etc.

As well we added a tie down security loop, to ensure your Paralax does not take off in the wind. In addition to this, we have 2 pockets (phone, and a book pocket), a bottle holder and we include a stake to secure it and a bottle opener.

We could not find a quality product in Canada, and other sellers have hidden in their fine print that their products take 6+ weeks to deliver! Which is insane, our products are all located here in Canada, and ship within 2 business days.
